Roasted Garlic
Ingredients
1 head of garlic
1 tsp. olive oil
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the papery husk off of the garlic.
Place the head of garlic on a square of heavy duty aluminum foil, and sprinkle with the olive oil.
Loosely wrap the foil around the garlic, and place in the oven.
Cook the garlic for 1 hour, until the cloves are soft.
Remove from the oven, and let cool.
When cooled, squeeze the garlic from each clove into a small bowl or container.
The garlic, mixed with a soft cheese like goat cheese makes a great spread for crackers.
