Buffalo Chili
Ingredients
1 lb. ground bison2 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes
1 oz. can of tomato sauce
1 10oz. can of beef broth
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 canned chipotle peppers, chopped
1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
1 dash hot sauce (optional)
Directions
Brown the bison in a large skillet, seasoning with a bit of salt and pepper. Drain the meat, put it into a soup kettle.
Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir.
Simmer over medium low heat for 1-2 hours.
Ladle into bowls and serve with a sprinkling of chopped onion and/or grated cheese.
