Recipes: Sauces, Salsas, And Dressings: Raspberry Jalapeno Sauce

Ingredients:

3-4 cups raspberries
1/4 cup water
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
2 jalapeno peppers, diced

Directions:

Add the raspberries and water to a blender or food processor, and
puree the berries and water.

Pour the raspberry puree into a small saucepan. Add the sugar, vinegar, and jalapenos.

Bring to a boil, then turn the heat down, and simmer for 5 minutes.

Pour the mixture through a strainer to remove the seeds and jalapenos.

Makes 1 cup.

Notes: This sauce makes a great glaze for grilled chicken. Just brush it on during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
