Apple Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and chopped
1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
2 Tbsp butter

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

Carefully cut a pocket in the side of each chicken breast half.

Season the chicken with a little bit of salt and pepper, inside the pocket and out.

Stuff 1/4 of the apple in the pocket of each chicken breast half, and close each pocket with a toothpick.

Place the chicken in a baking pan with the butter.

Pour the vinegar and teriyaki sauce over the chicken.

Put the chicken in the oven, and bake for 45 minutes, basting with the liquid in the pan, every 10-15 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the oven.

Remove the toothpicks and serve.
