Deep Dish Pizza
Ingredients
Pizza
Dough
1 lb. italian sausage or ground beef
1 28 oz. can of tomato sauce
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
8 slices provolone cheese
8 oz. fresh mozzerella cheese, sliced.
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease two 9 inch cake pans.
If the sausage is in a casing, remove the casing. Brown the sausage or ground beef in a medium skillet. When the meat is cooked, drain the excess grease from the skillet.
Add the tomato sauce, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, and worcestershire sauce to the meat. Simmer over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes.
Divide the pizza dough in half. Take half of the dough, and press it into the bottom and up the sides of one of the cake pans.
Spread 1/4 of the sauce over the pizza dough, then place 4 slices of the provolone cheese over the sauce. Spread another 1/4 of the sauce over the provolone, then place the slices of mozzerella evenly over the top.
Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
Bake the pizzas at 350 degrees for about 30-35 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove from the oven, and let the pizzas set for about 10 minutes before serving.

If you like, you can also add some canadian bacon or pepperoni, or pretty much any other topping you'd like to these pizzas. Just add them between the layers of sauce, to keep them from burning during cooking.
