Chile Stuffed Burgers
Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds of
ground beef
1 4 oz. can of green chiles
2 chipotle chiles en adobo, chopped
1 cup pepper jack cheese, shredded
Directions
Divide the ground beef into 8 equal portions, flatten each portion into a patty, about 1/4 inch thick.
Divide the green chiles, chopped chipotle peppers, and the cheese among 4 of the ground beef patties.
Place one of the empty ground beef patties over the filled patties, and seal the edges. Sprinkle both sides of the burger with a little bit of salt and pepper.
Cook the patties on a grill or in a frying pan over medium-high heat, for 5-6 minutes per side.
