Preheat your
oven to 400 degrees F.
Arrange the
salmon in a baking pan, lightly season with the salt, and sprinkle
a little bit of lemon juice on the filets.
In a small saucepan,
whisk together the apple juice, cream, horseradish, and liquid smoke.
Heat over medium heat until almost boiling, turn the heat to medium-low,
and simmer uncovered while the salmon is cooking, stirring occasionally.
Bake the salmon
for 10-15 minutes, until cooked through.
Remove the salmon
from the oven.
Place each salmon
filet on a plate, pour some of the sauce over, and sprinkle with
some of the chopped chives.
