Panfried Tilapia with Apple Balsamic Sauce

Ingredients

For The Apple Balsamic Sauce
1/2 cup apple juice

2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp butter

For The Pan Fried Tilapia
1 Tbsp butter (you can use vegetable oil if you'd like)
1 lb tilapia fillets
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp salt

Directions

Put the apple juice, balsamic vinegar, and butter into a small saucepan, heat over medium heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Turn the heat to low, and let simmer while you prepare the tilapia.

Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium to medium high heat.

In a pie plate or shallow bowl, combine the flour and the salt.

Add the butter to the pan, and swirl to coat the bottom of the pan.

Dredge the tilapia fillets in the flour, and place into the skillet. Cook for about 3-5 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the tilapia from the pan, and drizzle with the apple balsamic vinegar sauce.
